I haven't been able to post on here for a couple of weeks now as life has been insanely busy but i wanted to bring a couple of mixes to your attention that I have found really interesting.
The first one is the second Tempo Clash podcast featuring Danny Breaks, who for me is one of the best Dj's out there.
if you don't know, Tempo Clash is a genre defying London night that can count the mighty Kutmah and Om Unit among it's residents. It mutated out of the London bass scene but swiftly out grew that and has it's own firm identity within London club land – living in Paris i've never been but my connections tell me this is THE night at the moment.
I was really interested to hear Danny Breaks on the ones and twos, it's seldom he delivers mixes, and i wans't disappointed it's an interesting selection taking in Juke, hip hop, Dirty south types beats and drum and Rave. The Kahn segment of the mix is extremely nice and really deserves it's own post but for me it's the first 50mins by Danny that I've been hammering.
