Aaaah!!! The new 12” from Disco Deviance landed in my inbox this morning,.
Disco Deviance 25 brings 3 tracks of disco boogie soul that absolutely slam. Stand out track for me is the fantastic rework of Angela Winbushes “I’ll be good” by JKriv under his Deep and Disco guise called “Knock Me out”. This is absolute top notch slo-mo boogie, and has been on constant rewind since it landed. If I’m honest I’m utterly jealous as it’s one of the best edits I’ve heard in the last 12 months, and has got me wanting to up my game.
That’s not to take anything away from the two other tracks which are absolutely outstanding, but it’s the one for me. Isolating key points in the track and building instrumentation on top it’s a real classy rework.
