I'm a big fan of the two DJ's in this mix, and of their respective record labels, but more than that Dicky has been a long time friend and I've known Pete by proxy from back when he ran Atlas records in Londons Soho (in fact it was he who sold me Dee Patterns – Who's Da bad man if i recall rightly).
Anyway the crux of it is they are top guys who love music in a way i don't have the words to explain. It's pretty much their driving passion in life and that has always shone through in their dj sets. I had the pleasure of dj'ing with them not so long ago and i have to say it's one of the few occasions when i've been able to stand back and relax and actually enjoy the sets of the people i'm dj'ing with.
This mix is an exclusive guest mix for pulse radio, for which they've hosted a radio show for a long time.Their is a cracking interview with the two guys as well, which really gives a nice insight into the men behind the names that are in every disco dj's box.
The mix itself is a who's who of the current -deephosue&disco scene and is a cracking listen so i suggest you get on it asap.
